You just contradicted yourself. If someone's off meta pick has an 80% win rate (for example), why would you not want them to pick it on your team? If you truly are competitive in Ranked, then you'd welcome it with open arms, not wait for some LCS team to play it (tank Ekko, Naut Support, etc) before accepting it.
