With Riot building a new client
Now would be a great time for them to finally start supporting High DPI displays. Currently, if you are using a screen higher than 1920x1080 League's text and UI elements scale horribly. I know most people will shrug this off as a first world problem, but more and more people are moving to high DPI. Tons of laptops being produced now are high resolution, 4k TV"s/Monitors are dropping in price very fast. Me personally, I play on a 27" 4k desktop at home, and my laptop's resolution is 3000x2000. League of Legends is the only game I play that has a hard time adapting to this. All other games scale and look beautiful. League on my 4k monitor looks worse than League on my girlfriends 1080p monitor. A quick Google search will show I'm not alone. When Riot released the new in-game UI this Summer.. it actually made everything worse. On my laptop, text is so huge that I can't see half the timer at the top right of the game. When I'm jungling I have no idea when the monsters are going to spawn. Is there was ever a time where they'd actually work on supporting high-DPI for ALL of us in the future, it's now.
If someone from Riot reads this, could you please comment on it? Of all the thread's I've read of people complaining about this issue, I've yet to see an actually response from anyone from Riot as even acknowledging it as an issue.
