Why do players become toxic?

It's happened to me plenty of times. I get put on tilt and flame my team. Mostly when I'm getting beat.

What makes you turn toxic?

I don't turn toxic

if I feel rage I suppress it. If other are attempting to induce rage, I mute them. If I'm losing games and feel as if rage is coming, I either try to boost my teams morale or mute everybody.

This game won't ever get better for trolls and toxicity if we don't start trying to fix it ourselves.

Always be positive in appearance, even if you aren't entirely so. This will lead to more occasions of your teams pulling through and you will more often than not, find yourself less induced by an short influential feeling that can completely ruin other people's good days.

If reason does not work, walk away.

The most I am now is a Knight in Sour Armor when I'm being 2v1'ed for the third time in as many minutes, but since I usually play Garen, it's not so much of a problem that I'd go berserk.

Rewind back to BEFORE my connection was stable enough to play, however (That leave I've got on my history was from a disconnect that happened back then.), and I'd disturb other people in my house with strings of vile profanity, but I'd also be too busy trying to compensate for the lag to really type anything apart from repeated apologies during respawn. I actually stopped playing for a time when it became clear that winning hinged mainly on being lucky enough to start a game during one of the small windows of strong connection I had, and even now I only play once every so often.

Of course, I only play bots, so a good bit of frustration is mitigated by the AI. I would assume that the average troll/feeder/bully/whatever in PvP could probably wear down my patience over the course of a match to the point that I'd stop having fun, which is precisely why I only play bots.
