@Riot There should be more available, pro-league options in earning Influence Points (IP)
Over the years, and with the addition of over 50 characters since I've started playing; I've noticed an odd trend. IP is not easy to get, nor is it fun to spend.
When I buy a champion for 6300 IP, it feels like I'm giving away my soul; it's simply too hard to actually get enough IP to do anything satisfying.
The return is so minimal.
That's why I propose that there be more avenues to actually earn/make earning IP easier outside of the game.
One great way to do this, which you guys already did, is through the Tribunal. Although instead of earning base IP, I would recommend IP bonuses.
You did your cases for the day? Congratulations, here's 5 IP boosts.
Anything else to DO besides playing the game would be fantastic. Sometimes I get burnt out, and as a ranked only player, I only ever play when I'm trying my best, so I get burnt out a lot quicker, and take a lot of breaks when I lose games to recollect myself. That time could be well spent doing other stuff, like Tribunal cases (Riot, you're best judge is the community), reading/engaging in the forums, watching League of Legends sponsored content, watching the LCS finals or Worlds, helping other players learn the game. Honestly, Riot, I feel like there's so much room for you guys to make your player base more involved, kinder, and more focused towards League rather than towards Summoner's Rift; and I feel like you can incentivize all of that with IP.
Why not add the Tribunal back? Why not add IP bonuses to watching sponsored content on the front page (I realize that can be hard to implement, but just make your own video-player software, you're Riot). Hell, why not add a dynamic player tutorial where lower tier players (or even new players) can ask the community for help, and REAL players can log on and help them, either through chat or voice options. That would be great!
I don't see why you guys are so focused on Summoner's Rift, when you should be branding your video game, and giving the community more to do than just battle it out for 30 minutes.
inb4 my somewhat well-thought out post gets 0 pluses, and then I downvote it in shame
