He IS fun to jungle with, though.

Try to keep your health low, since your W has a percent health cost but a flat health return on Starcall. If you feel you are safe, build AP to increase your damage and healing. If you are worried about being killed, build low-health resistance items, preferably with an aura for your team ( ). You will want to maximize your CDR, naturally. Take into most lanes, if you think you will be able to poke safely and snowball enough to not need the Talisman active.

If I am being focused as Soraka, I find my best defensive tool is kiting. The slows on Starcall and the silence/zoning/root on your E can keep you alive long enough for help to come if you play it right, but only if you are building a fair bit of move speed (I have move speed quints and tend to build , , and if I really want to do damage). are also pretty helpful for this.

I almost always max W first. You can max Q first if you really want the damage, but it can be risky to reduce your healing if anything goes bad. I like to play really aggressively in lane, but playing passively and focusing on healing your ally is a safe and effective plan that I favor when playing with unfamiliar ADCs.

Your silence field is useful for a lot of things (such as pinning down silly Zeds who forget they can't shadow jump when they are silenced), but I think of it primarily as a defensive tool. Throwing it under an ally that is being jumped on can save them from some CC and damage; throwing it between you and an enemy can discourage them from engaging on you. Pairing it with allied CC or your Starcall slow can pin an enemy down for a long time. If you do not feel you need to save it for defense, you can throw it under several enemies in a teamfight to disrupt their casting.

Yeah first anyone who suggest to build hp5 base % should be discarded. She got nerfed to the ground on that departement. They live in the past. and doesnt work anymore.

what still can increase your heal potention are HP5 runes and . The warmog will be a huge power spike for you. However as you will go through a shopping with health item ( ) it will actually cripple your healing capacity for a while. That's why you MUST get some AP before you start building your warmog. I suggest a into a later.

Some people will argue that building health on raka is a blasphemy. They are RIGHT. Unless it's a warmog and then they are wrong. I ran the math many time around this forum i'll spare you for this time. :)
