League of Legends Community is Awful.

I have never been in a community that I have felt the overwhelming desire to post about derogatorily - not even the Call of Duty community - and I believe it certainly says something when Call of Duty's community is akin to Utopia when compared to League of Legends' community. This problem is clearly one that cannot be solved, as anonymity protects this detriment, but I still want to make one thing clear here.

Don't be a dick.

It's not a difficult concept. "Don't be a dick," is the equivalent to what we were all taught in Kindergarten, "Treat those how you would want to be treated." Somewhere along the line, I suppose people missed out on that course in the most remedial of education or simply took the day off because it would seem that many of the individuals playing League of Legends (the majority of this community) is blighted. It seems that every game I play in League of Legends, I have to mute people - or, even worse, I have to try and defuse situations so that we can continue the game without someone feeding or AFK'ing.

I didn't recognize that this community's demographic were elementary school students - I know now that it is, what with the word "scrub' being used every five minutes by 90% of the people I play with and the unlimited times I've had to deal with the phrase: "Kill yourself," for a small mistake that had no consequence other than myself dying at that point in the game. So, in short, this community blows and can't see how it could be debated that this community is even relatively good.

There are some good eggs here and there, but generally, this community is a bunch of assholes yelling at people for not being exactly like them.
