How to win dominion?

Hey everyone. I would first like to give a 5 second moment of silence for dominion and hide and seek. 5.... 4... 3... 2... 1....

Ok, now back to the question. I would like to get the 100 wins on dominion to receive the icon. I have 8 wins now but considering the amount of time i have until; dominion is officially retired, i think i can make it. Does anyone have any tips or champions that is best for winning dominion? I saw in a Youtube video which i have posted that a guy was using Evelynn to win where he basically rushed points so that his Nexus wasn't getting destroyed. Its a good strategy in my opinion because you don't fight and you put pressure on the enemy. Is this good in your opinion or am i completely wrong about my idea of the best way the win Dominion? I use Teemo a lot because of his 'w' and build movement speed. I also use Heimerdinger but i feel like he can be counter a lot, especially by Jhin. Is there a better champion in your opinion? Thanks!

they probably wont give you the icon since you needed to already have had the 100 wins

I think you need the have 100 wins by the time dominion retires.

Ok. I read that quickly on the page and never understood it until i read it again now. Thank you for clarifying! :) Kinda sucks i wont have a rare icon besides ascension now. I guess there is always skins.

I realize you already found out that you probably can't get the icon now, but in case you're curious, Zilean was the original backcapping champ. A guy named POOTERSS popularized and refined the strategy for high-MMR, focusing on movespeed and tankiness to exert continuous map pressure.

The best way to win Dominion games is to outplay the enemy team. Pick champions that have strong objective control and can survive in the jungle without someone holding their hand.

If you're bot, you want a champ that can clear waves, trade decently, and survive ganks without help. Picking a champion for "rushing a win" is the wrong mentality, as the game mode is very team oriented. People have no idea what they're doing at lower levels of play, along with bots being everywhere, so you can most likely win with any champ that has high mobility.
