Hi guys,

I am in graduate school and need to produce a writing survey of anyone who is currently in middle school or high school. League has some really exceptional fiction writers, and so I thought it might be fun to collaborate here. If anyone fits that 7th-12th grade criteria and would like to help out, please email me at [email protected] or respond here to the following questions:

Info:

  1. Name (if you feel comfortable)
  2. Current Grade (must be 7th-12th)

Questions:

  1. How did you learn to write and who and what influenced your relationship to writing, in and out of school?
  2. What do you believe are the purposes of writing, in and out school?
  3. Who and what supports your ability to write, and your interest in writing, in and out of school?
  4. What impedes your ability to write, or your interest in writing, in and out of school?

If you need any clarifications, let me know!

ENGLISH IS A POINTLESS CLASS. I'm sorry but it's so true. We can all speak English and we all know how to write a paper. My English class is more art than anything else because of stupid book projects.

P.S. I am in 8th grade
