Odd that Riot Picks Favorites it Seems.

So I just read the post about the guy wanting someone from the Riot Staff to gift his friend Kenny something because of how good of a friend he his. The reason I'm ranting about this is because last year I sent Riot a request for RP for my little cousin who had 4 months to live due to Lukemia. He had asked me if I could buy him some RP for Xmas and I told him I would definitely try. So I told Riot about this and simply requested that he receive 7200 RP to do with as he wishes. I didn't get a single reply from Riot or anyone. Sadly to say my cousin didn't survive the 4 months and passed away a month after this. 3 days before he passed he asked if I had gotten him the RP yet. I had to tell him that I couldnt afford it and watch his face fall as he became disappointed. Thanks Riot for nothing. Now I play on his account to keep it up. So screw Kenny and his Gifting personality.

If i'm not mistaken that guy still payed for the gifts, he just wanted them delivered by Riot as a treat, also his story is easily fact checked since they can just look at his friend's purchase history to confirm his claims,

If riot gave away 50$ of rp to anyone who claimed they had a dying friend/family member with cancer that the person wanted to get a gift for they would end up giving away most likely many thousands of dollars to random people with made up claims.

I'm really sorry to hear about your cousin, but you have to understand that not everyone in the world is as nice as you. I'm sure riot gets emails all the time of people trying to get free rp with made up statements. I know u are probably heart broken and in wonder at how riot wouldn't give rp to a dying child, but you have to understand that some people use such a horrid story to profit themselves. I don't know why people are saying ur trying to profit from it though you said specificly that u wanted it sent to his account. You sound like a nice guy though send me a friend request on LoL if u ever wanna play sometime. :)
