Jungle meta and where assassin's belong

The jungle has been designed so that not just any champion can jg and anyone that tries required skill, understanding, and itemization. I think that ask of this is good but I don't know that the champion type that it captures is the right one. More or less fighters and tanks. I believe that assassin's most naturally belong in the jg because of the ability to wonder and gank lanes. Maybe others disagree but then where do assassin's go? Is a team better suited without assassin's? Your thoughts please
