I just played a wicked treeline game and one champ on each team completely sucked and didn't chat or respond to chat. My other teammate said he thought they were bots... but they sucked SO bad..worse than the actual in-game bots - completely disregarding low health and sometimes just standing there or running straight past towers.. WTF? Why would anyone use a hack to suck so bad???
They are bots.
It is a horrible problem, but I have read that there are very few of them at the 30 level.

Think about it, even if you lose you get IP and experience. Albeit a smaller amount. That's what the bots are there for, to earn IP without the player actually having to play the game itself. A new level of lazy yeah, but this is the internet after all.... As long as people pay for these botted accounts there will be people maing them. I don't know why you would pay money for these accounts, but people still do.
Some bots will 'play' passively giving the human players a modicum of a chance at winning. Others will just move around at random to not get kicked for inactivity.
At least its rare... I was reading about some other bot-hacks that seem to be aimed at being inhumanly good, instant combos and the like. These bots were just retarded though. hope Riot is doing what they can to keep these hacks out..I'm bad enough against HUMAN skilled players without havin to worry about inhuman skills. ;)
It could be lag-it has been awful lately to the point were i'm fecking swimming when it hits hard. My first thought was troll but to have one on both teams playing as you describe is very rare so, as others are speculating, it was almost definitely hacks which must be incredibly annoying for you but, in fairness to riot, it almost never happens. It's because of scumbags that find enjoyment out of people getting pissed off-i.e: trolls
