in the past 5 aram games, ive seen 3 karma/brand/fiddlesticks.
i think its real random alright. cant remember the last time i saw any thing other than the cancerous things that made aram one sided to begin with.

Back when i played aram only, i too was concerned and read up a bit about it. Apparently, there are some peeps that buy aram op champs only to get the minimum champ pool required and then play aram. Since you can only get champs you own, this is like 100% guarantee to get one of those champs. And no, i don't think riot will change it so you get champs you don't own.
I've noticed that every time the rotation is switched to the new week, I start seeing the same 6 champions. There is nothing truly "random" in digital code, it's always some algorithm designed to simulate randomness, and Riot's RNG is very subpar, maybe it has a hard time juggling being random while preventing double-champion selection? I try not to let it bother me, seeing as it's a bonus game type not meant for serious competition.
