What is the point of the PBE
Now everytime I load up the game on a new patch, I wonder whats gunna one shot me. If all of this bullcrap gets onto the Live servers, what is the point of the PBE?

To make sure nothing that is on the level of release Xin Zhao gets released. And get a free peak at what's to come like a lucky person, BECAUSE YOU NEVER GET ACCEPTED TO PBE ANYWAY I mean, get to be selected for the great job of testing new content.
They test for bugs and balance trends. Problematically, the player size on the PBE is very small, so matchmaking making testing for balance an almost futile affair. Thus, they look for signs of possible imbalance, rather than trying to hammer everything out there.
Another problem with the small sample size is that bugs make it to live, simply because there weren't enough instances of the bug/s occurring for them to get caught and flagged.
basically bug testing, but i mean azir release happened. so its essentially getting to play stuff earlier then other people :/
