What would you guys say is a bad, good, and great kill participation %?
Bad: 30 and under good: 60+ Great: 80+
Would kinda vary based on role, though. So I guess I'll say this is for mid-lane. Curious what you guys think.

You pointed it out yourself, it depends on the role. Supports usually will have higher kill participation than the top laner for example.
But that is not all. It depends on your champion as well. A mid lane mage who hase alot of AoE damage and utility spells will naturally have more assists (and therefore: more kill participation) than a single target focused assassin.
i say anything 50% and higher
half the game is gonna be team fight and not solo 1 vs 1 situations
