I'm sure nearly everyone has experienced this, where your team knows you are top but yet they actually engage on the enemy team in a 4 v 5 then complain that you weren't there.
Isn't this just one of the most annoying things?
Or when your ally is bot when 5 are mid pushing to inhib tower and they don't come to fight 5 v 5 0.0
Kind of seems like you have a double standard here...
"I'm top and you're engaging 4v5 why you so bad" "You're bot and they're pushing mid 5v4 why you so bad"
I'm only partly giving you a hard time (I recognize the difference in that you're claiming they're ENGAGING while you're top, and meanwhile you've been pushed to tower and are trying to DEFEND it while someone is bot). The reason I put it like this is though, are you completely certain that's what's really happening?
Perhaps when you're top, they're opting to engage 4v5 because the enemy was out of position or they saw a chance to take down a carry or something. Maybe they thought you had teleport up and would come in and turn the fight.
With respect to bot, maybe he thought you could defend tower 4v5 (I mean, generally a tower is stronger than a player). Maybe he thought he'd get killed if he tried to go there (intercepted by their 5). Maybe there was just a really big wave slow pushing against you and you'd lose bot towers if he wasn't there and he's trying to make it slow push the other way before he rejoins you and thought you could disengage long enough to hold off without him.
Oh, and side point: They shouldn't really be 'engaging' when you're split pushing, but they should be applying pressure (i.e. pushing the lane). If they don't apply pressure while you split, the enemy can easily send 2 to kill you and your team doesn't net the objective advantage out of your death. Split pushing is a tough thing to get right in solo queue because 5 random players need to be on the same page.
