What hapenned to the Poro?

I noticed 2 months ago that poros would sometimes spawn if a player chose a Freljord character. Did they remove this cute little detail?

Here are the champs which makes a Poro appear: then I don't remember...

Saw him yesterday while I was playing Ashe, the little guy's still there don't worry summoner 31

Edit: He should be just above the blue spawn's shop, not sure where he is on purple side.
