Riot is absolutely incapable of solving the REAL problems of this community. every single time i'm reported, it's because of hardcore trolls in my game. and i don't mean regular trolls, i mean hardcore. i'm never the actual problem. but i talk back to trolls because i'm not some little girl that just sits there while someone acts like a child. so then they report me because i say things that are reportable. and then? BOOM i get a chat restriction. but yet, i have to deal with trolls LITERALLY 9/10 GAMES LITERALLY. ALMOST EVERY SINGLE GAME, I HAVE TO DEAL WITH TROLLS. showing that riot is completely incapable of taking care of a community.

So...did you learn to not respond to trolls with toxicity yet or not? "He started it" is a child's excuse; don't use it.

I had similar, leading to dozens of chat bans. Here is Riot's response:

"Hello SlytherMinn,

While the Tribunal is in recess, we're unable to provide specific chat logs or reform cards for chat restrictions. I'd be happy to help clarify what's going on but it's important to note ahead of time, we will not be removing or reducing the number of chat restrictions placed on an account

We've investigated your account and found higher than average levels of toxicity as a result of your actions in the matches you play. As a result, we have decided to place chat restrictions on your account to help you adjust your behavior in-game.

Our chat restriction system is in place while the Tribunal is currently in extended maintenance while the Development team works on improved features and enhancements.

The chat restriction system works by analyzing recently played games on your account. This doesn't take into account the amount of time that passes between games, which prevents players from simply waiting out punishments. Additional chat restrictions may be placed after your first round is complete if there is no visible improvement in behavior. It's possible to receive punishments harsher than chat restrictions should toxic behavior persist (including temporary and permanent suspensions).

It's important to remember that there is no excuse for being rude to others. If you think other players are intentionally trolling, then be sure to report them at the end of the game. Arguing with them in-game is rarely an effective tactic. If you're having a bad game, insulting your teammates doesn't help them improve, and it won't help you win the match. If you're not going to say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

If an argument is getting heated within the game, you have a few options. You can hide [ALL] chat, mute individual players, or move the chat box away from the screen.

I don't insult back, I say stop being toxic. Be positive, etc. Then the trolls report me. Why is that a hard concept to understand?

^^^This is the very reason why. You don't get dozens of chat bans for what you quoted yourself saying !! I'm sorry you don't yet understand this. There is a way to tell the Toxic Asses to be nice w/o getting yourself banned. Have a nice day though.

the list of things i hate isn't very long. the top 3 are terrorists, mustard, and trolls. not necessarily in that order, you can shoot at terrorists, and don't have to put mustard on your sandwich, but can't punch trolls over the internet. like i said i don't sit there like a crying little girl when someone acts like a little kid. and i feel like riot should stop being lazy, bring back the tribunal, and punish the real offenders. that's like that guy in texas who got 70 years for killing a home invader.sure you can just sit there and let him do as he pleases or you can give him what he deserves.

oh and not to mention the chat restriction is a death sentence in ranked because i can't direct the stupid awful teammates i get whenever i play ranked. like the kalista who missed 30 free cs early game, teemo who doesn't poke riven, lux who misses stationary targets, and cho who flashes after a 75% health alistar at level 15... i love the game but the community is just disgustingly pathetic and toxic
