Thought regarding further RP reduction due to Canadian economy

I want to start off saying that the theory makes sense, that we should pay more for less since our dollar is much weaker. But here is why it is insanely stupid and vastly unfair.

Canada is at a very high unemployment rate due to the drop in oil prices leading to ~300 000 people struggling to find work or about to lose their job. Not to mention, that out wages are not increasing aside from a very slight minimum wage increase as of recent, but we are still forced to pay for a higher cost of living while making significantly less than we once were (many people work 60% of the time making 50% pay) Canada is struggling enough, cmon riot, your a multi billion dollar company. Make an exception.
