Anyone else playing Irelia supp?

I started playing Irelia a few weeks ago, and you know when the waiting queue is too long you end up choosing "fill" lane. That's how I've come to play Irelia as a supp.

Of course the game started with "omg report this troll" and stuff, but I did pretty well!

Targon, Frozen heart, Spirit visage/ Banshee's, any kind of boots are the core items to me (most of time or ), then you can adjust, depending on the game. Full tank, or some damages with Trinity or Botrk.

Your opnions/ experiences?

Having the support role but going with no support item beyond Targon. I would report you too.

Oh ya, I forgot Frozen heart, Locket of the Iron Solari or even Eye of the equinox are not supp items. Genius.

Nowhere in your OP did you mention a Locket or an Eye of Equinox. And sorry to break it to you, but FH is not a support item.

Don't try changing what you said to get a win here.

Tbh, I'm agreeing with Galacticmaru here. Even I thought you're just some other random "meta-breaking Support" who doesn't buy a Sightstone in the end since you never mentioned it in your thread, including the Locket.

Plus, these first two items are suppose to be the early rushed items. I don't mind the FH in the mid-late game, but why the selfish SV & Banshee build instead of Locket?

Cause ADCs in low elo are worthless. Its even better to play without ADC. In low elo i had more success as 2x mages or bruisers bot lane than proper support and ADC.

Just wanted to be sure haha. That's why I also like Morgana, you can eventually go full AP if your team kind of fails.

Did that once. Got an S as 8/4 support morg... Won my 2nd crate as well.

Reason behind it was because our Ashe had no keystone mastery.

That my friend is reason why i main Morgana. I can determine if my adc is worthless trash in first 3 mins and decide what im gonna build.

Because playing support in low elo means your climb is depending on 4 strangers' abilitiesto carry. So taking things into your own hands is usually the best thing to do.

Hm... Let's say Irelia is most of time played off tank, what makes her hard to kill. She has a instant gap closer + stun/ slow, very nice to get rid of the annoying ennemy supp or to focus ADC good health regen, so she can stay on lane for a long while lng range ult, in case the ennemy ADC flashed you can still finish him hehe* raw damages with her W, so you can peel for your ADC

She's not she supp with shields and heals (Morgana, Janna...), but she has CC and decent damages, like Brand, Zyra, Leona...

Could try her once sometime if I ever buy her. You'd problably max her stun first right? Her W is pretty much pointless since only times you attack minions is to either proc the targon or to lifesteal off a full HP minion to half HP.

That's it, max stun first. Then Q spell (which is cool because you get easy reset with Targon).
