Does MMR gained in Flex work for Solo queue? (For placements in season 7)

Hopefully the title is clear enough, kinda hard for me to explain it. Just wanted to know. I don't want to play Flex if its pointless (not gonna be playing it next season).

I wouldn't think it does, considering that it's a separate queueing system with separate end of season rewards, but I'm unsure.

Iirc no. It only works for next season's flex queue option.

Figured, wasn't sure. I'll just wait for Solo queue to get added before playing ranked in preseason then.
