A better tribunal system!

Its been a long time I'm playing League of Legends. And I know there is a lot of poeple who enjoy this game as well. But many of them are toxic, afkers, bad attitude, and threatening other players that they are about to help the ennemy team if they don't have what they want. Too many peoples are doing that and its very annoying. I was about to think if it was possible to avoid these problems. In ranked, most of poeples are doing that, they feed the ennemy team and they leave. If there was an option that you can select what kind of players do u want to play with, that would be better. People s who leaves game can continue to leave games but, they will be placed in the afkers selection. Players who want to play seriously as they always do, they will be placed in the serious selction. Or, more you are reported more your border is getting red in the loading screen before entering your game. Anyway, that was my first idea. About my second idea, its about ranked. I know how frustrating it is when you play ranked and someone feed and leave. They are bad and unrespectful. The tribunal must be more serious about rankeds. Because ranked is important for players who are level 30 like me. But there is one thing you guys need to know, someone isn't connected yet ni the beginning, this maybe means that he has some connection issue somewhere. You can'T say that this guy afked the game. You can't blame these players. Its not theire fault if you lose in your game in a 4 vs 5. Now lets go back in the older subject I was talking about. At a certain moment, when the afkers ( poeple who frequently leave games ):## leave too much game in ranked, it would be better if they get ban from ranked mod for a certain time. Its the same way for toxic players. They CAN be toxic, but they can't write in the chat. Do you think its enough?, Nha its not enough. Toxic players need a punishment from the system. Like you are banned for a certain amout of days blablabla ect... Anyway, 2 weeks is not enough. If you get ban for two week, its not enough. If your gettnig annoying and you don't stop to afk in ranked, you can be banned from ranked for about a WHOLE YEAR. Yeah, THAT is punishment. You hate afkers in ranked, well, make sure they get ban for a year. Now, calm down and relax, poor afkers, they are leaving cauz they have something more important to do in theire lives. Well, talk about thinking before acting, I mean, think before starting a game or a ranked.. Now then, let make this clear. My second idea was to ban afkers for 1 year from ranked iof they leave too many ranked games. Thats it. Oh and soryy for my HORRIBLE English. You can say *LEARN ENGLISH DAMNIT ** hahahaha anyway. Thats it Oh and, if you don'T know what kind of reason your reporting someone is bad, there is something called UNSKILLED PLAYER get it?

Um, I think that a lot of what you're saying is pretty exaggerated, and some of those ideas probably won't work in an actual setting.

In ranked, most [people] are doing that, they feed the enemy team and they leave

I don't think that "most" people who are playing ranked do so with the intention to feed or leave. The existence and philosophy behind ranked makes it more competitive and more unforgiving of AFK/leavers/trolls, so I think there are less of them. Granted, they do still exist, but to assert that a majority of the player base queue up for ranked to feed/troll/leave is probably wrong. I think when people queue up for ranked, it's because they want to win. If they don't think they can win, some of the more toxic of the player base might AFK/leave/troll, but the VAST majority will just grit their teeth and keep playing.

People[] who leaves game can continue to leave games but they will be placed in the afkers selection. Players who want to play seriously [...] will be placed in the serious selction. Or, [the] more you are reported [the] more [the portrait] border [gets] red in the loading screen before entering your game.

Going back to why I think people play ranked, I think people play ranked to win. Under that philosophy, no one wants an AFKer/troll in their game, and everyone would just choose the "serious" section. If you got classified as an AFKer, there's nothing really punishing you other than maybe Leaverbuster. In addition, if I see a red border in the loading screen, this instantly makes me go "oh no, this game's going to go badly". I don't want that mentality when I'm playing; I want to be more optimistic.

My second idea was to ban afkers for 1 year from ranked [if] they leave too many ranked games.

My opinion is that that punishment is more harmful than helpful. I know you acknowledged that sometimes, people have real life to deal with. However, just because someone leaves more often than not doesn't merit a full ban. An AFKer, in my opinion, is less toxic to the game environment than a troll. The AFKer is passive; they are frustrating, but they're not deliberately trying to sabotage or belittle the other players. A toxic person, however, is more likely than not spewing verbal abuse and harassment that makes the game a LOT less fun to play. Because of this, I think that AFK is generally the lesser of two evils. And how would you punish an AFK in the Tribunal? IIRC, the Tribunal judges mostly toxicity cases; AFK can be tracked mechanically, and if someone leaves too much, there's always Leaverbuster.

In general, I feel like banning people from ranked (or even the game itself) for a whole year definitely just turns them off of the game in general; it's too harsh. (Imagine if you couldn't play League for a year; I'd probably just quit altogether.) Riot does like people to play their game, so if they do ban someone for an entire year, they want to make sure that that person has a good chance of not coming back.

Now, [I know what you're thinking]. Calm down and relax, poor afkers, they are leaving ['cause] they have something more important to do in [their] lives. Well, talk about thinking before acting. I mean, think before starting a game or a ranked.

Hey, if I got a call saying someone I loved was in the hospital, or that something required my urgent attention, you can bet I'm AFKing. Real life beats games out any day. Sometimes, real life happens unexpectedly. If we all tried to think of real life for the hour or so we're in game, a lot less of us would play. Just because someone overestimated their free time doesn't mean that we should grab our pitchforks; have to consider our real lives here.

So, my opinions in short:

  1. People play ranked to win. This applies to the vast majority of the player base.
  2. Sometimes, you will get AFKers or trolls. This happens maybe once every 25-40 ish games.
  3. Just because someone AFKs doesn't mean they should get hit with a one year ban hammer.
