PasteeyFan420LoL: Riot is an incredibly anti-consumer and anti-competitive company. They're scumbags on the level of your EAs and Activisions, but since the player base is for the most part much younger than other communities they buy into all the bullshit Riot feeds them. They're also infested with SJWs which is probably worse than their scummy business practices.

This is kind a the truth that no one accept except the most intelligent gamers. I know how the people are over stupid in the board. So I believe that there will be thousands of vote down because thousands of imbeciles and idiots. And that's a reality that none of you will accept. Stay blind and continue to drink Riot's milk.

I have played since s2 and probably won't quit anytime soon but fuck do I hate riot and what they've done and continue to do to this game. Murgman: I totally agree with you. If they cared so much about the community, they would've updated the game properly and given us things a lot of us wants. If they gave two shits about competitive integrity, they wouldn't allow all the shit that's going on in the eSports scene. Apart from the eSports scene, you can't blame them too much either. They earn a lot of money which is the point of every company. Why spend money, time and resources on fixing the game when people will still play it.

The game always have something broken. When there is something broken in a game, the game itself becomes 100% unfair automatically. Bugs and glitches should not be allowed in such a game. Riot, close all servers and fix your damn game for a week. Well, I've been playing on PBE and it was absolutely horrible. Madness in other words.

Facecheck: They're an unimaginative bunch with disgusting company culture. They are where they are because they were at the right place at the right time but as soon as LoL dies this company is probably done for. I'd be surprised if the could come up with a good idea for a second game.

Riot never had imagination. It's easy to take something and create a copy of it then changing its name into something else. They never thought to create a new game like Blizzards. Oh well, Riot is a joke in front of Blizzard.

Cakemix: Yup, I'm honestly shocked at how few people seem to realize how incompetent riot is these days. Seriously people... look at the creative quality of recent stuff, look at the new champions and recent reworks... it's a clusterfuck because riot is a poorly run company coasting on its original teams competence. LoL has already reached it's peak, and I see no indication that this steady reduction in quality will stop any time soon.

n00b9K1: Flamers shouldn't get banned nor punished. This isn't fucking kindergarden and you have mute button in the game. The only banned players should be just trolls and cheaters.

That's 100% more legit than right now.

Now's my opinion about LoL Today: League is not working great. The client is very slow and yet, I can still do much more with something more bigger than League with 4 other applications open. This game and this company only deserve a big SHUTDOWN. Why? For being d1cks and sustaining too much hate from the ones who got banned or other reasons. When someone spend over 300$ and they are proud of their accomplishments then suddenly you get banned, it pains even more than one little hatemail. By the way, the game is not even worth for a hundred $$$.

This section of the forums proves that people get in trouble for being jerks both chat and gameplay wise. If Riot truly only cared about their bottom line then they wouldn't:

  • Give out free mystery gifts to people who show good behavior.
  • Constantly work on improving their Player Behavior systems.
  • Give people multiple chances to improve their behavior for the better before permabanning them from the game.
  • Provide punished players with in-client and emailed Reform Cards to help them get an idea on why they got punished in the first place.
  • Bring back Winter Summoners Rift in an updated form.
  • Hold contests with RP and other in-game gifts as prizes.
  • Give out special skins to those who do well in Ranked.
  • Allow up to 3 refunds per account.

I could go on but basically Riot not doing what you want them to do doesn't mean that they don't care about their playerbase.

This shows how little you know about game design and play-testing in general. No game is 100% bug and glitch free, especially when on a Test Realm where bugs and glitches are pretty much bound to happen constantly. Some glitches are harmless while others are harmful. The harmful ones get fixed while the harmless ones get monitored and fixed if they become a serious problem.

Riot hasn't needed to create other video games because League of Legends is so successful. They did create a board game called Mechs Vs. Minions though. Just because Riot and Blizzard do things differently doesn't mean that one is a joke in front of the other.

No one will always like everything someone puts out, and I fail to see how that makes Riot incompetent just because they did some things that a few disgruntled players didn't like.

Obviously the system isn't gonna be able to catch everyone but there are numerous cases on both this forum and the old boards of gameplay trolls being banned. Don't believe me? Well Here are two examples of gameplay trolls being banned. Yes it's just two examples, but it proves that they do get punished. If you reported them and they have a history of acting up like that then they will be punished. The reason that it takes longer to punish them is because the system has to be sure that they're actually trolling via gameplay, which can be difficult (but not impossible) to track at times than simple verbal abuse cases are.

All of these responses you quoted seem to come from players who seem to only have a "my way or the highway" type of mentality. The players who come here constantly complaining about their bans are more often than not the same people hating on anyone who won't let them act however they want and get away with it. If players truly valued their account then they would work to maintain neutral or positive behavior, which the people getting punished constantly are obviously not doing.

If you don't like the direction Riot is taking with their game then feel free to leave. If you want to have a civil discussion then making rage filled posts like this and expecting to only get Yesman answers as responses are not the way to go.
