I have a "refurbished" computer, Windows. Hence I do not hold the Windows Key. Every day (at a seemingly random time) a pop up will warn me that I "may be the victim of software counterfeit". Personally, I don't care; it is only that pop up which has me feeling victimized.

When it happens, all open programs, and indeed the computer basically go into shock. It takes anywhere from 10-25 minutes to end it all and reload into a game if I am playing one. By that time the game is often over and I am dubbed a Leaver. Today it happened that I loaded back in relatively quickly and played out the rest of the game. Then... I got 5 games of 20minute extra queue time. Why!?!?! I was not gone long. I returned and played...acceptably well.

I know it is my responsibility to suss out my technical issues, which I am working on. But understand, until this development I was Cal Ripken Jr, never left a game in four years except in cases of real world emergency (few, thankfully).

Circuitously, to my point then. Why have I just received a 20 minute queue penalty for an offense less severe than the other (innocent) offenses which earned me a 5 minute penalty? And WHY THE FUUUUUUUUUCK does waiting out a queue penalty "silence" anyone in your party (they can't chat, visit the store, edit their runes/masteries). That is a doorway to scapegoating. It is senseless and it is ugly.

"refurbished" in other words you have a pirated copy of Windows. That "victim" popup is Windows Update saying "Listen bitch, you stole this, pay up.". But now it's Riots fault that you are illegally using Windows?

  1. Register Windows and the pop up goes away. This does mean you'll have to pay for software you're using.
  2. Windows updates are in no way under purview of Riot - any impact they have to Riots product are again, not their product.
  3. You know you have a problem and get disconnected, but you elect to ignore it and negatively impact your teams, but RIOT is lazy? Mirror - look in it.

At this point I believe I've waited more minutes for queuing to start than I have missed in-game.

This is a problem created by you to be honest. Leaving a game for 10-25min basically ruined the game for you team. And doing it multiple times is basically ruining multiple games. I know you aren't doing it on purpose. Pick up a windows key for $20 dollars and all your problems will be solved. LB is a great thing that helps keep down the dodging/leaving in games. It isn't perfect but it is good.

You got a longer punishment because you now have a growing history of leaving. You are a repeat offender and your punishments are going to be more continue to get more severe. Even worse, you know exactly why you are having problems and still continue to queue with it. Stop queuing and messing up other peoples games until you fix your issues and if you are going to steal windows at least crack it properly.

Everyday I always say I can't believe how stupid people are and then something always reminds me that yes people are that stupid. To top it off they even admit to how stupid they really are.

Missing the point, which I laid out in one paragraph. I did not steal windows. I payed the man at the store for a computer. Why does the penalty queue silence your party members? And I did say I am working on the solution. Is Riot?
