The start of the 2015 ranked season is upon us! I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve been practicing with my duo queue partner like crazy to prep for the new ranked season, and I’m so ready to reap in the sweet, sweet LP.

I bet that my duo queue partner can beat up yours. He plays the meanest, most aggro Draven I’ve ever seen, and our bot lane synergy is super on point. Whether I’m landing a spontaneous Nami bubble on an overextended enemy, or a Sona ult on the entire enemy team, I can always count on him to capitalize without dropping a single axe. When we win, our mingled nerd screams and triumphant cries of victory can be heard for miles. Even when my big plays don’t go as planned, he manages to keep me in good spirits by making me laugh and staying positive.

For those of you who regularly play ranked duos: Tell me about your main duo buddy! Who's the Valor to your Quinn? The Thresh to your Lucian (in a game synergy sense, not, uh, you know)? How'd you meet? What roles do you play? And what on earth makes you think you can take us?

My left hand and right hand always play League together. They're so synchronized that they usually share controls of the same champion. Perfect duo partners that can hopefully carry each other to diamond this season.

My duo partner is so OP he gets first blood before minions spawn, outruns you without buying boots, and takes his first turret before you can say GLHF.

I met him when I was still leveling up to 30. He was so positive in game that I asked if he wanted to keep playing. He taught me the beauty of a Nami bubble exhaust, as well as a sunshiny positive attitude. While he ended up rising up to Platinum with his superhuman skillz, he still finds time to carry me in YOLO queue. And even when we don't win, we still have tons of fun. We live across the country from each other, but I got to meet him in person at Season 2 Worlds. He's changed his Summoner Name like 5 times since we started playing, but I still call him by his original name (which confuses the hell outta other people on our team, LOL). Extempore OP!

Because we play the meanest wifesteal botlane you've ever faced. Me and my partner met when we were 12 in highschool (17 now) and have had synergy in everything we play. In battlefield i was the driver in every vehicle and he was the gunner. In borderlands 2 I was the Gunzerker tank and he was the siren healer. In real life im the brawn and hes the brains. He is the support and i am the ad carry. Try to dodge his hooks i DARE you cause even if you do hes gonna flash flay your fish tail and you're going to die because he takes ignite like true support. Your Draven isn't a match for me on Lucian he just isn't ready.

Lucian -Death is a mercy, and I have enough mercy to go around Thresh -Hook line and sinker!

My ranked duo partner is me myself and I ... however "I" tends to get a bit lonely when we call it a duo so we have to go with a trio. Our team includes us 3.Our map only has 1 lane and we affectionately call it the island. we are stranded, our lane partner (who we now call wilson) usually abandons us leaving the island. Most of the time its because he gets mad at us and we toss him off the island. In our off time we listen to the winds who try to talk to us. They carry a rumor about someone called a jungler. Maybe if we investigate the island long enough we will find this jungler. However most of the time we end up getting attacked by some hungry bandits who seem rather well fed. But we live on. These towers keep getting in our way of progressing further into the island. Sadly it seems however that we are stuck in this same conquest every day. we destroy the towers and this huge stone called a nexus. However when we awake after we destroy it, it seems that the day starts over. When we return to home base we see others. This "Shopkeeper" likes to "sell" us items. However they always tend to disappear as well when the day starts over. However we think its the island getting to us. Its trying to make me think there are others with us. However we know that this is a lie. Maybe it thinks we will find peace and not want to leave, the problem is cant. Me wants to believe other wise, myself is the logical thinker however and helps remind us that this is how it is. we fear the lack of the voice in my head that says "victory". We fear if we were to leave it would mean defeat. For now we will continue on in our endeavors until a friendly champion shows up. The only thing that changes is the object on our scroll. A few weeks ago it said gold, now it says platinum. As much as we want to get off this island without defeat our desire to know what is above this "platinum". We want to know what it means. The days seem to be getting easier as the opponents we face seem to be repeats. our imagination might be running out of creativity and on a loop. we doubt society will accept us back when not even those who seem to come around us seem to reject us as well. Its not like I was accepted by society before this incident. No one ever congratulated us on our efforts, no one seemed to help anyways. Now that we think about it... have we always been on the island? Have we just been crazy for all these years having imagined up a previous life for ourselves? we hope not. I duo queue all the time with my boy Fallen. We've been buds for a long time now and he's the best support a man can ask for. We have really great synergy because we've learned to communicate really well without talking because of his chat restrictions. He almost always plays Yasuo support, because 'he is the wind' but its ok because 'Avarice Blade OP', or so he says. If Yasuo isn't taken he usually just dodges, which lets me play Hearthstone while we wait for his dodge timer, but sometimes he goes through with it and just plays Riven or Zed.

The best thing is that even when we lose, I never feel bad because he makes sure that everyone understands that it's the jungler's fault. Besides, we shouldn't feel bad for losing to the noobs playing no-skill champions, and he wasn't trying anyway. Together, we've climbed all the way from Plat V to Bronze II, and I'm really proud of how much I've improved (I almost never lose laning phase anymore unless we don't get any ganks)!

Two of my best duo parterns are junglers (one I met through online gaming and the other one used to be one of my closest irl friend), me being main support, we easily fed the adc and started to go all around the map getting more kills and securing objectives. One of our best combos were Nautilus/Thresh , you can't escape the hooks buddy. ;D I miss one of them, he went to another server. ;W;

Sam is a cat, and he mains katarina. He's carried me through the elos and he could take all of your duo partners at once.

We were roomates for two years and duo buds during and after that, my duo partner mains support while I go top lane. I still have his back though, as he sets up some of the best teleport plays I can imagine. It's a good way to pay back the many many times he's saved my ass. We always joke that he's only saving me so he can be the one to kill me later, after the several heart attacks I give him per game.

Despite my living in Toronto and his living in Las Vegas my duo buddy and I are always there to hold the team together. Playing the support and jungle roles allow us to spoon feed the rest of our team and keep all our vision up so that not even he most tilted carry can be caght out. Having played together for more than 2 years now we can laugh about each other's mistakes and make #bigplays better than most duos. My duo partner is also the person I looked to on the final day of the last 2 seasons to play with me and make the jump from bronze to silver in season 3 and silver to gold in season 4.

My duo queue is my twin brother. Due to our mind reading, we have perfect synergy and will #rekt you. I am the adc and he is the support. I have the mechanics, he has the decision making. Come at us.

My duo buddy is my classmate who mains support and I am maining adc. We have funny moments in our lives and we spend a lot of time together. So we have very good synergy while playing LoL... We know what we will do even without talking

Me and my bud, we are two mean pieces of meat.

We don't go duo bot, we go top and jungle.

How did we meet? Irl. We play almost every day together.

The reason to why we beat you, is because we believe. We have synergy. I know, that when I teleport bot as Nasus and Flash>Wither the ADC, he will toss his Swag Flag and Cataclysm all over our target.

And he knows, that when he Assault and Batteries the ADC, I will follow up with Ki burst and Broken Wings.

He knows, that when he needs my protection when he is Kha'Zix, a Bear/Tiger/Turtle/Phoenix, will handle any opponent.

WE KNOW that we can trust each other. WE KNOW what to do. We will beat you, and everybody else, because we KNOW, that if we truly go for it, we are unstoppable!

It's not really often that I duo bottom lane with someone. I'm just not too good at ADC. Sometimes, I make exceptions though.

MY duo queue partner is a support main who I've known for awhile but recently met at a convention and she knows how to keep me alive in the most dire of circumstances. You see, my main champion pool consists of playing assassins so I tend to go IN all the time. My support not only knows how to back me up when I go in but she carries me every laning phase and keeps me alive when I get caught out of position (and boy, let me tell you, that happens ALOT!) I'm pretty positive my duo queue partner is the only support that makes playing ADC fun! :D

Myself and I have fantastic synergy. We always know what the other is thinking and we execute things at perfect timings.

Me and my duo met when I first moved to a new neighborhood and we have been duo buddies for 5 years through multiple games WoW, LoL, D3, you name it we have played it together. My duo is a support main and his Braum is always godlike (only because Winter's Bite ks is op) and I play adc our Braum and Ashe wombo combo is unreal our synergy is perfect. After we hit lvl 6 there is no stopping the snowball because if you dodge or flash out of one ult the other is always there to hit you. If you are that unlucky to face us in the bot lane we will have you saying "G_G ff @ 20" before the minions even reach the lane.

My duo partner is the husband of one of my closest friends. She doesn't play League so it's just the two of us, and he is fantastic. He plays anything bottom lane which saves my bacon because I'm terrible as a bottom laner. He's probably one of the coolest guys I've ever met and he's an amazing shotcaller. He directs me while we play and we have some fantastic synergy in most cases, though we obviously aren't perfect. We duo'd all through platinum until I, regrettably, solo'd my way to diamond. Though he hopefully won't see this, I'm sorry man, you really did deserve to be diamond more than I do.

My duo partner is a classmate who mains mid and I am maining jungle. It's just awesome to feed your mid, because he is able to carry extremly easy, if he got some kills on champs like Kata of Zed, while I have some kills too on Shaco. Always if my level 3 gank is successfull we say gj to us and I start to babysit even more mid. Sorry if Im the guy who is sitting all day on your lane :P

My Duo Queue is my Best Friend for 12 years, he's by far the best ADC i have ever seen and if it wasnt for me holding him back he'd be masters. When we play together i know its always fun and we're gonna laugh really hard. Its the most fun ever, I save his ass, he saves mine, and he goes ham and im right behind him! Its the best set up ever, even if its a dumb idea, he'll dive ALL THE TURRETS FOR ME!

My duo partner is my girlfriend. We go duo bot, and I couldn't ask for another support! She's really good, and even though we don't always win the lane, we always try to keep each others spirits in the game when all hope is lost. We always aim to have fun, but it's not always fun and games. She's the best support I could ask for and always fighting til the match is done. As I always tell her, ITS NOT OVER TIL ITS OVER! She's made some amazing plays that are almost too good to be true, yet they some how all play out just as she plans :D

A friend of mine that I knew in middle school and kinda feel out of contact with him until senior year of high school. I met back up with him in my graphics 3 class and I was making an animation with lulu and gnar when he came up and asked if I played league. After that we began playing this wonderfully addictive game with him though it took a little while for us to become duo partners, granted he has been playing a lot longer than myself so we don't always play ranked together And I care deeply for my duo buddy but god is he picky lol . But now that I am getting better at this game ( key word getting) we are playing duos out side of norms a bit more.

I duo queue with my boyfriend. I usually support while he ADCs, though there are times where I ADC as well, because I love my Vayne. Sometimes I'll go mid while he jungles as well, but bot lane is our home.
