Riot has stated previously that they don't want this and that they want people to practice via playing norms instead of just being on sand box for hours.

Im 90% sure this is a bullshit excuse. The real reason is their spaghetti code won't allow it, and they don't want to waste time and money on something that won't draw a ton of players to the game.

they really shouldn't make a sandbox mode. I don't want to try out a new champion and get flamed on by my team because i didn't want to spend an hour trying to play sandbox mode. I'd rather fight against a real team that can try to avoid my abilities and attempt to outsmart me. It is a legit excuse, and they even explained that they are working on fixing the client and moving the servers at this time. For me, it would actually be worse to create a sandbox mode, so i'm content for now.

1: I would probably only spend about 5-10 minutes after getting a champ to use them in sandbox mode. Just enough to know what the hell I have and what the hell to use. In any case, your team will flame you if you play badly, whether or not it's your first time on a champion.

2: The design team who would make sandbox mode and the team who is making a client fix and the team who is moving the servers are all completely separate. Don't act like one or another would waste Riot's time.

Do you know how hard it is to get good at Draven in customs or bots? It's either that or slowly get better with teams who despise me for not carrying with a champion I just want to learn.

I really want sandbox mode so I can work on my riven mechanics. It's near impossible to practice animation cancelling on Q in actual games.
