@Rioters:Quick question about Captain Gangplank reward conditions

A quick question for anyone who can answer: during the Bilgewater event I have played a pair of games with reworked Gangplank while he was on free week because of the event to try him, and I later bought him few days before the end of the Event, without being able to play with him after I have bought him because in the last days I was out of town and I got the IP to buy him just in the last games before going out of the town (i had to farm them a lot)

Do I will get the skin reward anyway, or I had to play games while I actually owned him to get it?

You didn't have to own him when you played. You'll get it sometime in the next 3 days.

Hiya!

You could play him F2P before buying him.

The conditions to earn the skin are:

  • Play a matchmade game with Gangplank (co-op v. AI counts, just no customs).
  • Own Gangplank before the event ends on August 10th at 2:00AM PST.

If you did the above, you'll receive Captain Gangplank within the next three days. :D
