If the entire system is being scrapped in a few months anyway, why not just make all the runes 1 IP each in the meantime?
Doesn't really hurt much at this point, and is a head start on "leveling the playing field for newer players".
It shouldn't interfere with any tracking for potential reimbursement, either, since AFAIK your account history tracks purchases by currency spent.
Also keeps new players who haven't heard the news from wasting IP on runes that are going away soon.
Then everyone would get all the exclusive rewards that old players deserve who've spent way more time on League to grind IP to get those runes and rune pages.
i made a post about this a week ago,pretty much if you have an account that reaches level 30 within this season riot fucks you up the ass because you either play ranked with troll tier 2 runes or you pay an absurd amount of ip to rent runes for 3 months.
Ehhh, look at it this way; the more ip u spend on runes before the season lets out, the more rewards you get, why make that difficult?
