Is it a good game? It seems fun, but I've never played a role playing game like this (except some Skyrim at a friends house.) Would you reccomend it? And if not that, any otehr good Steam games under $5?
Linna Excel1 votesIf you liked skyrim, it's similar but with guns. BTW, get the bloody mess perk. If you want a post apocalyptic setting, it's fine. It's not a perfect game, but it was one I could finish without getting sidetracked by other games.
You might want to get some of the mods though. These types of games really thrive with mods.
Billy VoHagen1 votesWhat about new vegas? they are same price. Is there a continual story, should i play one 1st, is one better than the other?
Linna Excel1 votesNo, the stories are independent so you can get either of them really. Or both if they are on sale for cheap enough.
I haven't played new vegas but have heard decent enough stuff about it.
tifas left elbow1 votesPersonally I loved the Elderscroll series, but found Fallout to be very humdrum in comparison. That being said, in my book there are two types of nerds; Fantasy and Sci-fi. I fall pretty hard into the fantasy side, so maybe that's why.
