Normal will always be normal
No matter what people always going to play normals games. I wish RIOT would put all the game modes to play, it will ever happen?

I don't think it's so much that normals will lose players, it's that game modes become boring after a while and people have favorites. People tend to like Ascension better than Nexus Siege for example, and Siege would die very soon given so many "better" options.
