Finding a main champ

I have a friend who plays a decent variety of champions but he has one specific champ that he's played since he started playing league. He has a mastery with Jayce that I don't have with any champ even though our skill in the game is about the same. I envy his mastery with Jayce and I want to find a champ that I can default to, have fun playing, and do well with.

Kindred probably is your best bet. You have experience on ADC style champions already so it should be a smooth transition to make.

I have played as her many times and as a juggling style she thrives best when you counter jungle and counter gank. She can also invade and kill the enemy jungler. The worst way to play her is where you just power farm your own jungle and don't try to make any plays. You have to go aggressive early or else you fall behind.

You can play mind games on people with how you mark them. Marking an enemy laner who is over extended and harassing your teammate is a good way to dissuade them to back off as they assume you are coming for them. You can also dissuade the enemy jungler from starting dragon if you mark them right as they start to fight it solo. It's funny watching them second guess themselves and back off dragon because they think you are near by and coming for them. You do have to commit to some of these marks to keep them afraid of you or else they will see through your bluffing.

There is a way clear the blue buff and gromp camps simultaneously. You will not be able to do this on your first clear or your second, but after you get some AD on you, you should be capable of it. It involves kiting the blue buff to chase you towards the gromp then attacking the gromp. So you are fighting both at the same time. Since W shortens the cooldown on your Q you clear out the blue buff mini monsters very quickly so once they die off you get your Q to hit the blue golem and gromp at the same time. Apply this technique for when you want to steal the enemy jungler as this saves time and manage and if done properly conserves health.

Kindred can jump over most walls. She can hop through the thin areas on the back wall of the red and blue buff. She can jump through the back of the Dragon pit and I think she can jump through turrets. I have to verify the turret jumps though.

Wolf will mark enemy jungle camps and neutral camps only. The first camp marked is always a scuttle crab. It is always random which one it is and is sheer luck of the draw whether it is on the side of the map you are on or not. The marks will only activate on live camps so it is a nifty way of keeping track of where the enemy jungler will probably be headed to next. They will and should try to deny you your marks. You know that and they know that. Plan accordingly.

Place wards in the enemy jungle to keep track of where they are. If you feel like they will invade you purposely throw a ward in the middle of their wraith camp. If the wraith camp gets smited it will immediately proc on the ward in the wraith pit and will essentially neutralize their wraith buff immediately. They may still decide to invade anyway but now they are going in without knowing whether they have been seen or not.

Don't go devourer on Kindred until you learn what you are doing. Warriors is a safer and often smarter choice on Kindred.

Don't be greedy on taking kills. Your marks will be activated on assists too.

Beware of displacement abilities. Anyone who can move Kindred outhe of her W or her R can spell trouble for her. Alistar, Lee Sin, Vayne, Tristana, Xin Zhao and Azir will be some of your hardest opponents. Some of you easiest match ups will be any opponent who is vulnerable to being kites and anyone who stacks health. Volibear, Trundle, Udyr, Amumu, Sion and Shyvanadium you should have an advantage over. You can hop through Trundle'so pillars if need be.

Be careful about where you place your R. It heals enemies too. Cast it on the ally who is tanking tower for you when diving an enemy.

Blue Smite helps your sticking power in ganks. Try to keep one stocked at all times.

If I think of anything else later I will add on to it.

I'd say explore. Find a champion who's playstyle fits yours, and who you feel confident playing. Most of all, someone you enjoy. I main malzahar and wukong because I love playing them, plain and simple!
