Akeydel1 votesWell, also, it's easier to lose if you dont try.
But the 0 LP is because you advanced a whole rank. Its kinda like the money system in most RPGs: 100 bronze coins -> 1 silver coin. You don't lose that progress, but you can still say you have 0 copper.
Vistha Kai1 votesIf you lose 1st game in three game long promo - dodge. Saves you a lot LP and your MMR is intact.
Mathematically speaking, if you lose your first game, you have 50% to win second game and 25% to win the promo. If you win first game, then you have 2 more 50% chances(75% overall, I believe) of winning the promo.
