So I'm starting this thread because I'm running a D&D campaign inside Runeterra and there are questions regarding gods and such. I know there are Demons being 
and I'm not sure if there are more demons. For Gods I found the closest thing being the 5 Darkin 
and the other 4 are unknown. I was wondering about other possible Gods? Like Solari and Lunari. Basic people that tribes worship or anything close to that.
As far as I can tell there are no true demons native to Runeterra. Creatures like Tahm seem to be functionally closer to aberrations than demons, although they don't really match in appearance. The Void, however, seems to match the Abyss fairly well. The Void is a little more structured, so perhaps it's a better match for the lower planes as a whole.
As for gods, unless the Void is an entity itself I don't think there are any entities with a level of power equal to a god in D&D. Even the immortal Angels and the Ascended are more comparable to demigods than gods, and they are some of the most powerful entities on Runeterra proper.
We've never heard of whether the Sun and Moon are thinking entities, however, so perhaps that is a good point to think about. Leona's lore would be the best evidence, however it can also be explained that her innate powers are what caused it and not divine intervention.
I don't think LoL has gods or demons, but just really powerful beings who have lived very long, which got made into legends as generations pass on.
The closet thing to gods in LoL imo would be Soraka and Bard, but it seems while they possess very high magnitude amount of power, their uses are highly restricted by a certain law/order they're a part of.
There are the Watchers too, but they're more like some ancient overlord instead of being some deity figures though. Well I guess once you have obtained extreme powers and is practically immortal, you might as well be called a god. So yeah.
I would say they have gods, just not in the typical creator sense but rather just someone who is extremely strong.
More input is still accepted at any time! I'd love to hear new theories and thoughts on the matter!
