What Riot Could Have Done...

So to all those who are upset that URF didn't come back, stop crying. You're getting it TWICE this year, instead of just once. Not only that but Riot has expressed multiple times that originally they never wanted to bring back a game mode the exact same. They always added a new twist to a returning game mode. Moving on I wanted to talk about the failure of the Draven event. It didn't work for multiple reasons. The first of those being that some people just didn't get the joke. Not everyone understands why Draven is even funny to begin with. The second reason was that Riot didn't go all out. Just minions and champs with Draven heads. They could have done so much more! A Draven sound pack, Draven heads in splash arts, make everyone's icon a Draven head, etc.

Now I want to bring up what I think could have been a better idea then bringing in a half assed Draven joke. Nerfed. If you were ever on the boards last year you know what I'm talking about. Nerf was a spin off of URF. It was the exact opposite. A few of the things in the game mode was that attack speed was reduced by 80% or something like that, mana cost was increased, etc. It would have made the gameplay extremely difficult. I know a lot of you are confused as to why I would want a game mode that handicaps you. It's simply because it would be original and very interesting. Maybe after playing it I would never play it again, but it's definitely something I would want to try.
