Wow, pokemon cards are expensive.
I decided to look over my pokemon collection to see if I could sell anything while the patch was coming out.
Out of all of my ultra rares+ and promos, (theres 13 cards) I have $128 worth of cards. Geez...

pokemon is a cheap TCG compared to magic. For a highly competitive magic deck your looking at $500+
My last standard MTG was almost 500 bucks. I sold it for 275 to the store. And in modern decks are in the 1000's.
Just adding to every else's statements. I know in Yugioh you need to spend 200+ on the extra deck (fusions, syncros, and xyz cards), before you even start spending money on the actual deck it's self. Last I knew the top decks where going for 500 +.
