Leaverbuster handles afks probably better than of the other punishment systems at doing what it is supposed to do. The only thing leaverbuster really doesn't address is people who just give up and like farm the jungle and never help, but it does detect like running in circles at the fountain.

Now the thing with leaving is that everyone, even the most upstanding players, are going to have some leaves. Everyone has internet issues from time to time, or emergencies. But no one really escapes leaverbuster. The only thing I would like to see changed with leaverbuster is after the 20 minute low priority queue(3rd punishment) it should start banning instead of handing out more 20 minute LPQs, and start counting those bans as strikes towards a perma.

The common punishment for afks is low priority queues, so they still queue in games, but typically have to wait out a 5 or 20 minute timer.

at first theyll get Low priority queue waiting 20mins just to even get started in a queue, i would assume if the had this happen a number of times (basically meaning its consistent) theyll end up getting ban.

SmokedAlmonds, really ? that far that quick ? Don't you think an in-between punishment 1st, maybe a suspension to let people know they are on the cusp of getting something worse ? I'm not disagreeing with your intent just the level of escalation :)

It's possible I misunderstand the LB punishments as they stand, I need to read up on it...if you got a quick link that would be great if not I'll go searching eventually.

That is a LOT of chances. 20 minute LPQ on its own is at least the 3rd punishment, then it would be 3 strikes after that. That would be be a warning and 6 seperate punishments. How many chances does someone need?

Ah, I see :) I wasn't sure how it works exactly. I had the LB warning but I never leave a game on purpose ( I would have liked to a couple of times but won't do that). I don't disagree with you, it is something that needed to be addressed and I'm glad they did... I guess I'd be okay with something like what you suggested.

EDIT: And before any one comes on about random DC issues, Yes I have had this problem and there are ways to deal with it. Not always fun alternatives but you have some choice before ruining the game for 9 others. Sorry, preemptive comment ;)

EDIT 2: Thanks I'll have a look. I appreciate the link.
