League is becoming less and less fun
A few seasons back, the balance seemed almost there. Champions had their designed roles, and each came with a set of pros and cons. Tanks would not die easily, however they could now output as much damage as you might like. Assassins could get in and do lots of damage, but they had long cd's and it was often hard to get out. Adc's were squishy, but if they had the right amount of peel and didn't get too far behind they could shred. Mages flung cool purple and blue shit at the enemies and melted people, but they were squishy and often immobile. And bruisers....lets ignore them.
In the rift today, everyone deals insane amount of damage. Assassins are super slippery and are becoming more and more difficult to punish when they make mistakes. Adc's either feast or die- they lack the health to survive even the some of the least damaging champs. Mages are similar to adc's, they fall prey to tanks, bruisers, and assassins alike. If you aren't ahri with 3 dashes or morg with a 2 second snare, you are often at the mercy of everyone. Finally, tanks now do damage, but with the increase of overall damage, they no longer survive long enough to do their designed job.
