Vote on the Lock in requirement in the new queue system

I like the new queue system a lot but that requirement to lock in is driving me crazy. Every once in a while I forget to hit the button and then I get kicked and 5 minute ban. I even had one game where somehow the room screen "zoomed in" and I couldn't reach the lock in button anymore.

Once I have a champ selected why the heck to I have to lock it in? Riot please just let the system auto lock the last champ selected if not manually locked by the player.
