I've gotten to level 30 and I've got a pool of champions I am comfortable with. Should I just test waters in alone in ranked or go in with some players who already have experience there? How did you do it? Do you wish you had done anything different?
Don't play Ranked as soon as you hit 30. You will just get boned and placed into Bronze.
For now, I would recommend playing around with every role and a ton of different champs in Normals, and try to find either a singular champ, or a role that you like, and start mastering it.
Most people say get 200 normal wins before playing ranked. I don't know about that, but I'd say stop playing blind pick and go to normal draft for a while.
play ranked once you have 8 t4 mastered champs and have 5 rune pages filled with different runes.
