Question about bans

Dear Riot and the LoL community-

Over the past few weeks I have run into a higher share of toxic players on my teams in ranked. And something I have noticed very often is that even if I have screenshots and direct quotes of toxic behavior from them, they deny deny deny. I always try to have a civil and productive discussion with people in post game to address any issues I have because if people will talk to me and have a discussion, I won't report them. But the constant denial of any wrongdoing bothers me. I am not perfect. I have games where I rage but I try my best to calm down and apologize because raging is never OK. Since I have never been banned or chat restricted myself, I don't know how the process works with how you notify the guilty players, but do you guys ever provide evidence of why you ban these players? Do you send them chat logs? And if so, have you found that this helps players accept more often their wrongdoings and change their behavior?

Would love to hear input from any players who have been banned or chat restricted on what your experience was with getting banned. Poll below as well.

Thanks- Yaso

You used to get chat logs in Tribunal cases - although it wouldn't point out exactly what the voters disliked, just the full chat logs of the games.

Right now players who are restricted/banned do not automatically get chat logs, although Support can provide them if you send in a specific request. They have stated that automatic logs will come back when Tribunal is rolled out again.

I'll probably be perm-banned eventually.

People are way too sensitive these days. If you try to coach them or instruct them on what to do they get defensive and report you.

You can't provide any criticism to your teammates (even constructive criticism) without some sissy getting all butthurt and going afk/reporting you.

So I don't even care anymore. If they want to ban me because 12 year olds can't handle playing games with adults (even after spending $500+ on their game) they can go for it.
