Do project cores have a use anymore?
I got 24 cores during the project box event but never got any project skins so I never got to use any of them. I can't disenchant them or anything so are they just there forever or until the next project event?

You should be able to disenchant them next patch.
Prob useless till either 1 of the 3 things happen
- They bring back augment caches for a month ( maybe in December or something )
- The next Project additions come out
- A new chest type is created and " Cores " can be then disenchanted into new crafting materials ( 4 = 1 random crafting material )
