Theres absolutely nothing I can do

Silver 5 0 lp for over a week due to rage quits. I have seen nothing but people complain and complain about everyone else sucking. My last match....I was zed agaisnt cass and I couldnt take her head on so I made it a farming lane dodging her q's and what not. BUT THEN OUR FUCKING ADC comes in and starts fights there costing me 2 towers. I say "hey man just leave mid be im slowly winning it." she responds with "are you fucking stupid im carrying look at my kd" (which was like 7/2 but I knew that team fights would be rough they had sej) so then...we keep team fighting and we start losing. Im keeping my cool and trist is raging "if I have 0 peel its gg" and then dies AGAIN due to not staying with her support. she rage quits as with like a 9/4 kd and comes back AS THE NEXUS IS DESTROYED SO SHE DOESNT GET LEAVER BUSTED :) WHAT THE FUCK DO I DO I keep losing due to idiots with ego bigger than their elo. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. --- Zed In Your bed

This was earlier today. Our Lucian literally bought starting items and immediately ragequit because someone called him Token.

We just kept our shit together and absolutely dominated with a 61/23 game... AFK = no excuse ;)

So you want me to just automatically give me a team that can win 4v5? Im in silver 5 the chance of that happening is next to none. I have won them before but thats when someone afk's right off the bat and we are aware we will need to switch it up later. not 20 min in and the support has no cs and items to help an adc

you just got lucky, the other team was prob so bad. Which they were because they lost to a 5v4. It's all luck and skill. If 1 person is good on the team and the rest are poop, you're not going to carry at all because by the time you catch up in kills and cs, the other team will be just as a head as you and even more ahead than you because your team just keeps feeding. You didn't carry that game... look at the rest of your team, they were just as good as you, and WAY better then the other team. Goodluck getting players like that, 1 out of 4 matches.

Two win 4v5 you have to have 4 competent players vs 2baddies and 3ok players. If everyone is equal skill 5 wins every time.

Got lucky? That's the whole point.. Luck is always there, and you can't affect it... so don't even acknowledge it. Good luck? Bad luck? It's random. Focus on things you can change. I cannot change random AFK's. I can't change DC issues or ragers, or lag spikes. What I can do is focus and try my best. I don't blame others for my losses, it would be pointless. If one just focuses on the random crap that happens and says well, shit happens, then you will never change and never get better.

For example... Personally, I do great with aggressive teams, like in the link I posted. But, when teams are more passive, I have a lot of trouble coping with that. I've gotten better with it, but I still have a long way to go. But the main point is that I need to change HOW I PLAY and understand that that is a factor, instead of just chalking it up to "bad luck" or "shitty teammates," as so many people do.

The same goes for wins. There is always room for improvement. Never think of a dominating win as luck, still analyze it and find your mistakes/

Me and shyvanna are the only ones who didn't feed, who didn't go negative, who tried their best. I ended up with 15 deaths because of course, just look at the enemy team, look how bad they're all fed. It was impossibler for me not to die ( specially when you become the focus because you're basicly the only threat in the team.... )... i tried my best, i always do, but this matchmaking is broken as hell. You either get really good teams, or you get really bad ones. It's rare to get a good fair match where both teams have almost the same amount of deaths and objectives taken. You just got lucky with that match. what you said, was not advice... just carry them and stop complaining... please... bronze division 5....

You did well given the circumstances. Exactly what you should have done. Despite your feeders, you didn't give up, and you tried your best.

Yes, there is randomness. But, there is a certain margin of error, even in the most "fucked" of games (afk's, feeders). that margin is what it is your goal to control. Never give up. And you didn't. You still lost, but that doesn't mean that you fucked up.

Keep at it and never give up, and you will gain the advantage. Sure, you will still lose sometimes, but perfection is impossible. Focus on gettign better, not perfection.

pfffft i never quit, im always that red vote. Other than that, you're not wrong... people just quit because they're loosing.. they should stay in the game and change the way they're playing, CHANGE SOMETHING/LEARN SOMETHING!! They don't they're just so focused on the loss that they keep on feeding... there's just no escape to those kind of players really. That's why i don't like playing ranked matches because mistakes like that are not my fault and when they happen that's just not fair for me at all. Rather have people go crazy on normals where it doesn't really matter.

So I'm gonna give you the honest truth. If you are not destroying your lane with a zed against a squishy immobile apc, then you are probably in your proper elo. You cannot expect to get carried, you have to carry, and you dont carry sitting mid with zed at 0/0 20 min into the game. Thats just the facts.

Seek to improve your own skills and stop worrying about others. If you were good enough to climb, you would be making the enemy adc rage quit instead of your own.

Now, to be fair, riots system inherently makes it difficult to climb if you are somewhat close to your current elo, but thats besides the point.
