Idea for the Honor System

Simple idea really: Total honor divided by 10 is permanently added to your IP gains at the end of every match.

In example, I have played ~2500 total games (assuming I have near 1-to-1 win/loss rate in normals). Over that time I have earned 65 Friendly, 44 Helpful, 364 Teamwork, and 177 Honorable Opponent. 65+44+364+177 = 650 total honor gained over a TON of games. Divided by ten this would 65, meaning after each matchmade non-bot game I would earn an addition 65 IP. I do not think this is too overpowered, as I have played a TON of games.

However, obviously we can tweak the 10% of honor if it gets out of hand (i.e. every person is getting 9 honor per game) and put it to any percentage rito wants. I am just looking for general feedback here, what do you guys think about this as a way to make the honor system actually do something?

Interesting idea, though it you could easily increase your total honor if you play with friends and have them honor you after every game.

I really enjoy this idea. It gives some perks to people who play the game for a long time, and it isn't a broken system either. Honor is given for certain behaviors, and I doubt adding this would entice people to honor other people. It will make them beg for honor if anything, and no one would give people honor if they beg for it.

Not a bad idea.. How about just 3 additional LP per honor obtained?
