I recently switched my main from middle to top after Nidalee's nerfs at the end of season 4. These changes made her a lot less viable as ad (which I played) so i made the transition to play her as an AP carry in the Mid lane. Since then I have played a good amount of Nidalee Leblanc Yasuo Fizz, and I can honestly say that I do not hate Zed. The only time that a Zed I am laning against gets fed is when he is genuinely better than me. If I am better than him I shut him down. So people that are complaining about OP Zed need to stop. It is just like a Fizz, if your Jungler does not make a good effort to help you destroy him than he will carry. Zed and be easily shut down and people just need to calm down. Riot did not nerf him for a reason.

So the only time he beats you is when he's better than you, aka a Zed player who knows what he's doing.

BUT, when you face a Zed player that is worse than you, aka a Zed player who doesn't know what he's doing, you completely shut him down.

Thanks for applying this blanket statement that could be said for absolutely any champion to defend Zed's current state of balance.

I can draw this conclusion fairly safely because of the simple fact that if a Zed player knows what he's doing, in the ABSOLUTE WORST case scenario, he can still farm like a bandit. If you are able to "shut him down" then he's not playing the champion correctly and thus does not know what he is doing.

He needs something changed. Even if you shut him down. He will still roam bot and rape the ADC.
