I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science, but I feel like that won't be enough. I would love to work for Riot, but dream jobs may never come true. This isn't a plee for "Hire me, hire me!" No. Instead it's seeking advice.

I have made small games in the past, and I've known that I want games to be my career. I want to work in the game industry because they rule my life, but I enjoy it so it's okay.

So I'm curious, how did some of the Rioters make their first step into the game industry, especially on the programming side? What are some other things that I can do, study, or practice (Especially coding languages, I'm proficient in Java and a few others.)?

I'm looking to apply for internship next year, and what to build something to show some of my coding abilities, and I wonder how I can show this off? I can't have a game printed out in a portfolio, so what is the best way to demonstrate my capabilities?

I guess what I'm saying is. . .I want to work on games. My dream is to have my name in the credits of at least one big name launch, but I feel like I'm at a brick wall. Halp!
