So I just completed my 10 games to get placed in ranked. I win 9 out of the 10 games and I get placed in Bronze 2? I was just on my alt account and won 8 out of 10 and got placed in gold 4 a few days ago.
How am I in the same bracket as people who are 2 - 8 and I was 9 - 1?

Might be because you played 
all 10 games. Other than that idk maybe just bad luck.
It shouldn't matter who I picked. Someone needs to fix this. And I shouldn't be forced to try to climb out of bronze because their system screwed up. This makes me not even want to play ranked. This is so dumb.
I busted my behind trying to win those games and I basically just had RIOT spit in my face and toss me in Bronze 2 regardless of my effort and hard work.

Not a lot of information here to make a deduction on this.
Your placement is also based on your hidden MMR. So if on the account you were just placed Bronze 4 in, your MMR was probably really low...like Bronze 5 ish. Whereas your Gold account, was Probably Gold MMR and placed you accordingly. All depends on your your accounts previous MMR was. Its a soft reset. Not a hard one. so it still retains MMR of where you last left off.
What was your division on that account in season 5? If it was low Bronze, or Silver 5 with absurdly low MMR it is possibly a correct placement. Picking Illaoi most definately didn't matter, but last season MMR is taken into account before placements so that silverados don't play their 10 matches with diamondinhos.
