Has Riot ever considered adding in-game player moderators?

I know some other games do this, they have players of all skill level who are active and exceptionally friendly become player moderators by either random chance or filling out an application. I feel this could really help the league community. There would be no way of knowing that you had a player moderator in your game. This could fix the whole issue where people are champ select trolls, act completely nice in game, and are trolls after as well. This could also save people who are provoked by in game things, such as intentional feeders, trolls who follow them around and such from getting angry and receiving a punishment for toxicity. Although I can see how it would be abused. If Riot was selective enough but at the same time picked enough people I feel that this could really help the community

but if people can't tell who is real and who is fake then you might have people who instead of saying "Give me mid cause i'm a diamond smurf" They will say "I'm a moderator so if you don't give me my role i will get you banned" and since there will be no way of telling if they are legit or not then you have no choice but to give them their role

Yeah, because with all the thousands of games going on every minute, Riot is gonna hire and pay thousands of moderators. Get outta here.
