what are good single player comp games with good amounts of money?

starcraft looks unintersting but i need something better than a p.o.s team game where my teammates feed (carry harder you suck blah blah im diamond 1 smd) cant play cs go either because you need a full party otherwise you afk with 3-17 teammates so what are games that are 1v1 that take skill and you can win money
