What I learned from having delayed queue time from LeaverBuster
I'm not gonna go through why I got punished in the first place, but I never left a game intentionally. That said, I'm gonna explain what I learned from having 20 minute delayed for 5 games.
-
I learned to manage time. While I was waiting for 20 minutes, I did some housework, took a shower, and made a call.
-
I learned that there was a tool on Facebook to make your profile picture rainbow-colored.
-
I watched /All Chat and learn about Gweedo.
That's it. Nothing to do with "I shouldn't leave games in the future," BECAUSE I ALREADY KNOW. LeaverBuster punishes actual bad players, sure, but a lot of people are innocent. Some new system needs to be implemented.
For example, don't automatically punish people if they tried to reconnect. Because it can be abused, give more weight to player reports than just seeing if they attempted to reconnect.
