If you are banned for any reason such as for afk or chat bans you don't get your season reward for the elo?

No. Severe Chat/leaver buster penalties only prevent your reward if you have one when the rewards are handed out. If you got one earlier and already played the games to get rid of it, you're good. If you got one and you don't pay it off when the rewards are given out, then you don't get them (because you have to work off your punishment. it's not punishment if you just stop playing).
