I made a discussion earlier how Riot should let us change our runes during champ select but people were saying it's because Riot wants to make you want to buy rune pages and it's true, but I also think that the rune page bundle is a bit too expensive.. I've spent money only the buy the bundle AND before you say something about the bundle going on sale it's not that often.
Prospector Pete1 votesRunes are just super expensive in general
Complexly1 votesYep runes are too I see myself spending so much on runes that I can't buy champions that I really want to play which is Ekko and Jinx currently.. so I need to buy RP and buy champions when they are on sale..
Toastey1 votesRiot has said so many times that they don't want a "daunting high barrier to entry"...and proceeds to do nothing about a rune system that is insanely expensive, does not explain itself, and yet is actually necessary to effective play.
All runes should be free. We should all get 9 copies of every rune. Rune tiers should be abolished. Rune pages should be awarded with summoner level; at level 30 you should have 20 pages at your disposal. You should be able to do runes in champ select. Every champion should have a generic, recommended rune page, similar to the generic recommended items.
And just to compensate people who have been playing for over 4 years (like me), refund all my goddamn IP that I spent on these accursed things. That way, maybe I could actually use/afford a good chunk of the champions in the game.
